It's me again! Running MacOS Monterey 12.0.1 on a MacBook Pro 13" (2020 M1) with a Dell D6000 with latest firmware, and version 1.6 drivers do not allow me to use 2 external displays. Strangely, version 1.5 does work for me, albeit with the fact I cannot use my 4K monitor in QHD HiDPI mode.
It appears I'm not alone, with others reporting the issue here and here. With version 1.6, the system detects the 2 screens, and they appear in System Preferences, however no display is shown on the screen (only black). I've tried rebooting, unplugging etc. and nothing. Occasionally I see the screen flicker, but nothing sticks. I tried changing the resolution and refresh rate - but only ever black screen. If I uninstall version 1.6 and reinstall 1.5 it works fine with the same hardware and cables. I keep coming back every few weeks and trying 1.6 again, but it's the same issue time and time again meaning I'm stuck on version 1.5. Can anyone @ DisplayLink please help? |

You might have the same issue I just reported, try setting your attached display to 30hz instead of 60hz and see if it works.

Thanks! This indeed worked, but I cannot use my monitor at 30Hz it hurts my eyes. I've rolled back to version 1.5 for now, I can't believe DisplayLink is not testing for this stuff!

I've confirmed that either downgrading to 1.5 or switch to 30hz also worked for me.

50hz works too, seems like the same performance as before the update. Previously mine were set to 60 but I don't think it was actually hitting 60. Dual 4K 32in
