Low Quality Resolution

Accidentally posted this on general discussion therefore reposting here.

Hi,

I have a 2560x1440 monitor connected through HDMI cable to my dock ((STlabs U-2470) when I run the program it will show like I picked 2560x1440 resolution however it looks terrible, It looks better when i pick 1080p but it's not 2k ):

I tried using different cables but I figured it might be that my dock isn't compatible with Apple MacBook M1. I'd love to know if anyone knows what I'm talking about and could help me before I plan to buy a new adapter/dock for 200$

Looking at that adapter it doesn't say that it supports DisplayLink, and neither does the manual. Does it show up in the DisplayLink Manager?
