Default Mac is not responsive after idle for hours

I have the StarTech docking station setup for my work MacBook Pro. When my Macbook is sitting idle for a long time such as overnight, I can't wake my Macbook in the morning. I have to disconnect the USB cord and then my Macbook wakes up. I have verified that my MacBook doesn't do this when not connected to the StarTech docking station. I have tried to see if there are different settings that could be causing this, but not able to find any. Any help is appreciated as to why this is happening.

I do want to note, this only started happening after I had to reset my Macbook because of an Office 365 software issue. Ever since then, this has been happening.

Hello guck2277,

Please ensure that you have the latest version of DisplayLink driver installed.
Could you give us information about the macOS version that you are on?
