I’m experiencing an issue using DisplayLink with macOS Sequoia 15.5 on a MacBook Pro (M1 Pro). Everything worked perfectly until recently.
Setup: • DisplayLink Manager: 1.12.4 (Build 90) • macOS: Sequoia 15.5 • MacBook Pro M1 Pro – 16-core GPU • Displays: • LG HDR 4K (6016×3384) • LG ULTRAGEAR+ 4K (3840×2160 @ 120Hz) • Samsung S34CG50 Ultrawide (1440×3440 @ 100Hz) – via DisplayLink • LG Ultrawide (1440×3440 @ 50Hz) – via DisplayLink • Built-in Liquid Retina XDR (3456×2234) Issue: When the MacBook lid is open, all 5 displays (including the 2 DisplayLink-powered ultrawides) work perfectly. However, when I close the lid to enter clamshell mode: • The two DisplayLink displays disappear • Only three monitors remain active This began recently. I’ve confirmed that: • All permissions (Screen Recording, Accessibility) are enabled • The DisplayLink Manager app is running • All monitors are initialized before closing the lid • I’ve tried toggling the “Power save all displays and sleep in clamshell” setting with no change Is this a known issue with clamshell handling in version 1.12.4 or macOS Sequoia? Are there any recommended workarounds or diagnostic logs I can provide to help resolve this?
