Exclamation Odd new behavior: DisplayLink loses track of external displays

I'm running DisplayLink Manager 13.0.0 on a 15" M2 MacBook Air connected to a brand new Anker DL7400 Docking Station via USB-C. Two 27" Acer displays are connected via HDMI for a total of three displays (the MacBook itself and the two external). My Mac is running MacOS Tahoe 26.1.

Over the last couple of days, DisplayLink has begun to forget about the external displays. With no error message or warning, one external display goes empty to the desktop and the other mirrors the internal display, which now contains all of my windows. I lose the ability to move my mouse off the internal display.

Rebooting DisplayLink Manager seems to solve the issue... but only for a matter of minutes. After it happened the last time, a total reboot of the system seems to have solved it (for the time being) but this is obviously not an ideal situation.

Any ideas?

Hi sdimbert,

Please install the latest DisplayLink Manager 14.2 from here:
https://www.synaptics.com/products/d...ownloads/macos

and make sure to maintain ~20GB of free disk space as falling below causes macOS to stop certain processes like DisplayLink Manager.

Regards,
Szymon
