Sorry this is so painfull for those of who are in the know
I honestly thought the last entry was the answer to my prayers - what could be easier - enter my package number then ENTER No such bleeding luck chmod +x /Desktop/DisplayLink Linux Support Tool 1.2.17 chmod: cannot access '/Desktop/DisplayLink': No such file or directory chmod: cannot access 'Linux': No such file or directory chmod: cannot access 'Support': No such file or directory chmod: cannot access 'Tool': No such file or directory chmod: cannot access '1.2.17': No such file or directory What am I missing ?
