Sadly since that, my Wav Link adapter stopped working altogether, as has a second identical one. Neither work on a second machine, so I think they're toast.

Yes, I have the same issue. It doesn't matter...
Yes, I have the same issue. It doesn't matter what I do, I have to wait about 10 mins after the machine is started before it will recognise the adapter, and 'bing' that the device has been connected....
